Greencastle’s Cameron Pingleton Commits to PSU Tigers


ORLANDO, FL — The PSU Tigers are thrilled to announce the commitment of Cameron Pingleton, a dynamic multi-sport athlete from Greencastle High School in Indiana, for the 2025 football season.


Standing at 6’2” and weighing in at 200 pounds, Pingleton brings a powerful combination of athleticism, toughness, and versatility to the Tigers. A standout at defensive end and running back, Cameron earned a reputation as one of Indiana’s top 2A defenders, finishing his senior season with 60 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and multiple forced fumbles.


“Cameron plays with relentless energy and a chip on his shoulder. He’s a leader, a hard worker, and exactly the kind of young man we want in our program,” said Head Coach Takashi Walker. “He’s going to make an immediate impact for us on the field and in the locker room.”


In addition to football, Pingleton excelled in track and field, showcasing his explosive power and speed in events like the 100-meter dash and shot put. His multi-sport background reflects the work ethic and discipline that PSU Tigers strive to build in their athletes.


With his commitment, Cameron Pingleton becomes the latest in a growing line of high-impact recruits choosing PSU Tigers to elevate their game and pursue their collegiate football dreams.
