PSU Tigers Open 2025 Training Camp with Energy and Focus
Orlando, FL – August 11, 2025 – The PSU Tigers officially kicked off their 2025 training camp today, ushering in a new season filled with high expectations, hard work, and a shared commitment to excellence.
Day one of camp set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season. Under the guidance of Head Coach and Director of Football Operations, Coach Takashi Walker, the Tigers took to the field early in the morning to beat the Florida heat — but still had to battle intense summer temperatures.
Coach Walker praised his team’s effort and mindset.
’’The first day went very well. The players handled the heat, gave great effort, had fun, and stayed with our installation plan for both offense and defense,’’said Walker. ’’It’s exactly the kind of start we wanted.’’
Throughout the morning session, the Tigers focused on building a strong foundation for the season. The practice plan included position-specific drills, conditioning, and the first phases of offensive and defensive play installation. The coaching staff emphasized both mental sharpness and physical intensity, ensuring that every player understood their role in the team’s game plan.
While the opening day of camp is often about shaking off the rust, the Tigers looked prepared and motivated. Their energy was contagious, with players pushing one another and celebrating each small victory on the field.
Training camp will continue over the next two weeks with daily practices, meetings, and team-building activities leading up to the Tigers’ season opener on August 30th.
With a solid first day in the books, Coach Walker and the PSU Tigers are looking forward to building momentum, refining their schemes, and preparing for a season that could see them make a serious run at championship contention.
