  • Tyris Doll (WR/DB) and Deiondre Curry (DB) each grabbed an interception, giving the Tigers an impressive four picks on the night.

Final Score & Outlook

Despite SFTC battling back with two scores of their own, the PSU Tigers’ early offensive explosion and defensive playmaking proved too much. The final whistle sounded with the Tigers ahead 21-12, earning a statement win to begin the season.

“This was a great win for our program against a very good SFTC team,” Head Coach Takashi Walker said after the game. “I was proud of the way our guys competed. We did some really good things, but we also know we need to correct mistakes and continue improving heading into next week.”
